Ella Lovina Kealaonapualani Mano Hanohano, 77, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 27 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kailua-Kona, she was a cashier at McDonald’s, waitress at the former Ocean View Inn and former Kona Hilton Hotel, rental agent at Marquez’s U-Drive and Holiday Rent a Car, attendant at the former Ann Ka’s Leis, and member of Kai Opua Canoe Club, Alu Like Kupuna and Na Wai Iwiola Kupuna. Celebration of life 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Old Airport Maka‘eo Pavilion. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Born and raised in Hilo, he was a retired U.S. Air Force Vietnam War veteran and retired U.S. civil service worker in Okinawa, Japan.
